Tom

Jamie is a graduate of Dundee University with a degree in Creative Writing. He currently works for a publishing company in Edinburgh when he's not playing bass for Grace & Legend. He is a fan of loud music, good beer and the excessive consumption of pizza.

Tom has been playing the drums since he was ten years old. With years of studying, he is now doing a degree level in music at the University of Wolverhampton. When he's not drinking too much cider, he’s either watching Sons of Anarchy or listening loudly to anything hard rock.

In March 2014, Grace & Legend was founded by vocalist Bekah Mhairi Comrie and guitarist Ashely-Nicole Wall. They met at Edinburgh's very own Academy of Music & Sound and discovered common ground in their tastes in music, sharing an interest in bands including Evanescence, Alter Bridge, Halestorm, Nothing More and In This Moment, to name a few.

Within days after Grace & Legend formed they got straight into writing and hit the ground running with their first track "Fade Away". Soon after, they started playing gigs in venues all around Edinburgh and got a great reception from local crowds.
Factors out with the band’s control combined to make the summer of 2015 a quiet one, until September that year when Jamie Harris took over bass duties. In the New Year, Grace & Legend returned to the stage with a revamped line-up, new songs and big ambition. In May 2016 their first EP ‘Broken Chains’ was released.

After playing numerous gigs throughout the year including a weekly slot during the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Grace & Legend were joined by Tom Parker on drums in October that year. They are now in the process of writing their second EP which will be released in the spring of 2017.
